Taking the fear out of money and financial issues has been the focus of Diane Willis, CDFA, owner of Wilshire Financial, for most of her career. Financial planning, probate administration and trust services have led her to a focus on individuals and couples going through divorce.
Diane completed her training in divorce analysis in 2003 and completed Family Financial Mediation training in 2012. She received her certified financial planner designation in 1987, and has spent her career helping people with their finances.
She is sought out by attorneys, mediators, and individuals for her empathy, attention to detail and creative problem solving. She is Past Treasurer of the Mecklenburg Collaborative Family Law Group and is a firm supporter of the collaborative divorce process.
She is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Professional Family Mediators and Past-President/Chair of the Financial Planning Association of Charlotte. She's also an avid supporter of our nature preserves and served on the Stewardship Advisory Council of Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation for six years.
Her son recently received his master's degree, and Diane has gone through the divorce process herself.
